Thanks to Roberto Natalini we have set up a special Sonoma County connection with a native of Santa Rosa.
Absorb the comprehensive narrative by Jared Giammona, the founder of The Sonoma County Experience. He will provide a guided tour of California’s illustrious wine, beer and emerging cannabis region.
The Sonoma area is also quickly becoming known for its booming brewery industry; in 2017, Santa Rosa was named the “Microbrew Capital of the U.S.,” according to SFGate.
The tour will first stop at CannaCraft which is a community oriented brand that provides medical cannabis products manufactured in Sonoma County.
CannaCraft is one of the county’s top 20 private employers, and the largest legal manufacturing facility of its type in the state. Their products meet the highest industry standards for organic cultivation, extraction, product formulation and packaging to ensure patient safety and well being.
We will tour the facility and go through individual rooms, such as the extraction lab or distillation room, to see and smell the aroma in different stages of the production process.
From manufacturing to distribution, we will next stop in Sebastopol at Solful, a enticing cannabis dispensary.
Lunch (on your own) at Pizza Hut, Viva Mexican Restaurant, or McDonald's will sustain you till we get to the craft brewery in Petaluma.
101 North Brewing Company offers Golden Naked Ale, Naughty Aud Imperial Stout, Stigmata American Red Rye Ale, and Indgo Pale Ale as well as other brews for your tasting pleasure. (tasting is optional, $10, payable at the brewery)
During the day, the links between cannabis and beer, both of which use hops, will be explained.
Participants on this tour will be able to take home a bounty of information that you’ll be able to share on your own tours, when appropriate.
To save your space, sign up now. No payment will be due until one or two final details are worked out. At that time the cost of the tour will be due,
