Golden Gate International Exhibition 80th Anniversary

Treasure Island's beautiful Art Moderne "Administration Building" will be the setting for an afternoon of lively presentations, conversations with GGIE "veterans," a raffle, refreshments, exhibits, and more.

Speakers include Kathryn Ayres of the San Francisco Post Card Club and Paul Totah, editor of The San Francisco Fair, published for the fair's 50th anniversary in 1989.

This one of many events in 2019 that will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Golden Gate International Exhibition held in 1939.  All guides can add to their story inventories by attending as many programs as possible.

A freewill offering of $10 is suggested at the door.
