Famous Rotating Turntable Bar Atop SF's Hyatt ...
Author Last Post

Good Morning Greg,
And to all the SFTGG,

I agree,
Excellent sports commentary.
No doubt about it.
However,
IMHO,
I would say more similar to
Australian Cricket,
than,
American Baseball.

That said,
Those are
Mighty Handsome Hounds.

Re.,
The revival of the
Revolving Restaurant atop the
SF Hyatt Regency.
This is awesome good news.
Once the restaurant is open to the public,
or perhaps before,
A SFTGG Field Trip to the rotating restaurant and the hotel, would be a great group activity.
I consider the members of the SFTGG to be
SF’s unofficial
Ambassadors to SF’s visitors.
It’s always best for SFTGG Guides to suggest visiting
SF attractions that
SFTGG Guides have actually have visited themselves.
I think that the mgmt of the SF Hyatt Regency would like to have the members of the SFTGG visit the reborn rotating restaurant on a preview tour.
The last SFTGG hotel field trip that I recall was a tour of the
Palace Hotel, over ten years ago, and on that extremely interesting tour,
hotel mgmt and staff was very gracious to the SFTGG and quite happy to see us.

Cheers,

Bob Hunt

The word "iconic" gets way overused these days — if every other thing is "iconic," what does the word even mean anymore? But I think I can safely say the rotating former Equinox restaurant and bar atop downtown SF's Hyatt Regency, which is about to turn 51 years old, is an iconic piece of the city's hospitality history, and the hotel is bringing it back.

Greg

My feelings exactly, especially about baseball.

Still the BEST sports commentary of all-time
