Maybe everyone already knows this, but the driver I was with yesterday showed me something I was unaware of. With the SFO construction and limited places we're currently allowed to drop off, the airport has created a special dropoff zone that is convenient to both T1 and T2. It's departure level, CURBSIDE (not center island), at the far end of T1 next to Door 9. Thus, a short walk back to airlines in T1 and a short walk forward to airlines in T2. And it's official-- the sign says "Charter Buses.
