Sausalito ferry service ending for Blue and Gold. Whaaaat????

Subject: Blue & Gold Fleet - Sausalito Ferry
Dearest Partners,
We are writing to you today to give an update on upcoming scheduled service changes that effect our Sausalito Ferry. Beginning May 4th, 2026, the Pier 41 facility will close down as it will undergo a State mandated remediation project. Blue & Gold Fleet’s
Bay Cruises, charter services, and RocketBoat attractions are not affected, and will continue to operate out of Pier 39. Since our primary Sausalito vessel does not fit into Pier 39 we are taking this opportunity to install new Tier 4 engines that represent
the cleanest burning diesel technology currently available on the market today. In addition, new docks, gangways, and piles will be installed at Pier 41 after the remediation project is completed. This will significantly improving access, resiliency and the
Bay-side visitor experience. Unfortunately this project will take approximately 1 year to complete.

When we first heard of this project, it was our hope that we would be able to offer an alternative solution to get us through this next year. Something that would allow us to continue supporting our partner's travel itineraries. And while there are talks in
place, I have yet to solidify anything as of yet. There is another ferry company, Golden Gate Ferry, that has service from Sausalito to the San Francisco Ferry Building.
